The baby sighed sadly.

She simply puffed smoke at him. "Abomination." She growled, scales turning black and gray.
The baby didn't understand the word, and so squeaked in confusion.

The mother just went back to camo, disappearing from sight.
The baby was silent, and then happily rolled onto his back. He wiggled his front talons at Ash, as if wanting something.

He twisted around, until he found his favorite position. He sighed happily, snuggling his head against Ash's chest. He blinked up at Ash with affectionate golden eyes.
