He looked down for a moment. A frozen moment before he looked up to him and nodded. He slipped back through the portal,shaking but holding the egg carefully with a gentle strength. He couldn't fly anymore and so he knew he'd have to walk. He looked back though. "I hope that the absence of the Iron King will make things safer for you."

Ash nodded. "I hope to see you soon. Please don't die."

"Heh...dying at this point in the shattering process is almost inevitable....this is the first time I've let it go so far to where...even I can't reverse it." His voice was soft and a bit grim. It was true. His scars had been evidence of how he'd lived through the first part of the process so many times. And yet now....it was to far. "But if I do...make it....I'll try and say hi." He said,making a slight joke about his own death. The egg wiggled again,a soft squeak seeming to refuse. He laughed,causing his chest to crack and make him spit up more liquid glass,but he seemed to not mind. "Okay okay....let's hope Flasher...won't quicken my death...because I took you from the moon fields....No,you won't go back...your not hatching alone." He said,smiling to the egg a bit. The portal flickered a bit and slowly shrunk,it was slow but it was happening. The portal on his end tho was permadent so it wasn't disappearing for Jason.

Ash watched Jason fade, sighing and turning away

Jason forced his body to slide down the side of the cliff,scraping off glass quickly. He soon,maybe by the end of that day,had finished the trek and was passed out by the castle. Soon after a while some ShockTails found him and took him in carefully,not asking of the egg or touching it. They left him with the healer,ForeSkel,and let the skeletal dragon care for him. Binding him up and pulling his wings back together and making it so that he couldn't crack any farther.

Ash went back towards his home, his sword dragging in the snow

After a few days,dragon time,he was flying about with the little dragonet. She giggled as he flipped carefully over her. She almost fell but he caught her carefully and set her down back on the entrance ledge of the mountain castle. "I've gatta go,okay? I've just got something to take care of. I promise,I'll come back. Stay away from those screeches and you'll be fine." He said as the little female multi-wing nodded her tiny frail head and hopped off back into the castle as he thrust off and glided toward the main portal. He was wrapped up and unable to shift for a while but he could fly alright.

Ash wasn't where he usually would be. He was out in the wyldwood, hunting. It was the only way he could make himself feel anymore. He had assumed that Jason had died.

He landed easily,and carefully,by the portal He traced it's glass frame and looked into it's purple depts. He knew he should go and try to fight,but he had said if he made it he would say out. And so he whispered softly to the swirling purple "Take me to the fey realm,I wish to find a friend." He then described Ash and it shivered faintly,suddenly silver swirled and seeped into the deep purple depts. He smiled,stepped back,then thrust through the liquid like stuff.

Ash's horse reared, and Ash didn't know why. He attempted to calm his horse, but it just backed away from the forming portal
