Dove decides to pick up her pace so she doesn't lose Raven

I'm going to return to the herd and report what I've seen, mainly that I know where our herdmates are

Raven slows her pace slightly, "Take the lead Dove I don't know beyond the forest."

(Please remeber to quote or bold my last post so I don't have to search for it to jog my memory)

The herd is hidden safly from the intruders. As you turn back to follow your tracks you notice the warmer weather.

"Sure." She says as she picks up her pace and continues on past Raven. She loved the feel of the wind in her mane

Dove makes a noise of distaste and urges herself to go faster. They had to at least find a place to wait out whatever storm is coming

After a few minutes the sky opens up drenching anything not under cover including you and Raven. Because of the slickness of the trail from the rain Raven slows her pace to a walk, "We need cover soon."
The closer you get to the mountains the less cover there is.

Dove stops and looks around. "Maybe we can find a cave or over hang somewhere. If not we might just have to find the closest tree and hope it shelters us a little."

Raven nods once, "I suppose so.'

There are few trees nearby but there is a smallish hill that possibly could be a cave ahead. Farther ahead is the mountain where there are known to be caves.
