He was wary of the lion, feeling kind of threatened by them

They head to the main area. Living in the houses are various fey, the majority of which are injured. A lot of them are heavily wounded small iron fey.

Ares refused to go any farther inside

Isiea hops off of him and pets him. A few fey shyly head towards him, and one hesitantly pats his side.

He flinched, looking towards the fey that had pet him

Its a tiny iron fey- a young child, wearing gloves to prevent her from burning him.

It was good the child was using gloves.

Shes missing one of her arms, and half her face is ripped off. But, despite all this, she still has the innocence any child would, and is smiling as sweetly as any non-iron kid.

While the child was sweet and all, the smell of iron made Ares want to just turn and run.

She smells vaguely like the winged animals in the area. The scent is faded, but its definitely there.
