Good point. "D? Would you do me a favor?"

She smiled, and nodded.

"There's a box in the back full of DVDs. Would you please get them up here?"

"Sure!" She said, twisting around and reaching back. She grabbed the box, and pulled it over for Kate.

"Thank you."

She gave a nod.

She put a DVD in

They where each marked, and stacked in order. The tops where the ones from way back, and newest ones sat at the bottom.

A screen lifted from the dash board, and lit. On screen came the entrence to the lab, bouncing up and down as the holder of the phone jogged up. He was breathing heavily, a much younger Luke. "Alright, we just got someone new in! And I'm going to be put in charge of them, I'm really excited. You see, they're a little one. That means I can cuddle them and not be scolded!" He said, voice more high pitched. He walked in, then wove through passages that looked the same. He finally came up to a clean version of D's cell. It had a new water bowl, a clean food dish. No chains, no spikes or anything.

He jogged up to the bars, peaking the phone through. In the left corner was a very tiny D, with stubby little legs and a chubby tail. She had her big purple top on now, and she was sniffing her water dish.

"Look at her, she's so tiny!" Luke said.

D peeped in surprise, then spun around to face Luke. She cooed, and waddled over, tripping a bit on her top. But once she was there, she giggled a cute little sound and tried to say hi.

Kate watched silently

D tilted her head, wondering what this was.

Luke laughed, opening the door and coming in. He didn't close it, kneeling by the little hybrid. "Hi." He said gently, holding his hand out.

Baby D sniffed his hand, then rubbed her head under it.
