The normal dull that we know isn't bad, but the eggs usually have a sort of feeling to them that shows that they have life in them. When this sort of feeling is dull, something could be wrong. Or, just a miscalculation; as it had been with Jason.

Yes. She was, but making sure if they where or wheren't.

Jadescar gently turned a silver one over in her front talons, the shell had darkened areas and no sqeak of protest could be heard from the movement. She sighed, gently placing it on another cushion as she gently started checking a strange gold colored one. As she picked it up, a quiet chirp came. She seemed to smile a tad as she gently nestled it back on the same cushion.

She wasn't sure, but she was going to check it over after she checked the others. She picked up a blue one with white swirls, gently tapping it. There was a tiny thump back and a chirp. "Yes, I hear you." She said, nestling it besides the strange golden one.

Jadescar seemed unaware she was being watched, nor did she seem to be happy or bored. She simply ordered the eggs, and then began tending to the ones to the side. The silver one, she turned over in her talons again with seeming worry. "Hm. Teraroot maybe." She muttered, standing with it in one talon as she walked over to a plant in the stone wall. She dug a claw into a crack and pulled out a bright green root. She ripped it off and took both the egg and root to a crystal bowl. She put both in and poured some water from a large pitcher of a huge pither plant like plant. She then stirred with a talon the the root desolved, turning the water green.

No, she just gingerly laid the egg in it and let it sit there so it would seep into the shells pours.
