Jack chuckled once in a while to himself at Rays cute ramblings, he never could hear enough.

Scarab wonders if they should start a conversation with Jack. They return that if Jack wanted to talk, he probably would be, and so Scarab keeps quiet and lets the two chatty ones, Ray and Kiara, talk away.

Jack was an odd one, could be chatty or very quiet. Depended.
HE finished up his job soon.

Scarab had moved to take over what Ray and Kiara had been doing since the two of them had pretty much stopped everything they were doing and concentrating only on talking.

Jack offered to work with Scarab.

Scarab doesn't answer for a while as they do the work, debating whether or not they should accept. A bit reluctantly, Scarab accepts the offer and thanks Jack for the help.

Jack said 'your welcome' and helped only as much as needed.

With the two working together, they soon finished preparing the food.
Ray and Kiara were having a friendly debate on what they thought about birds. Somehow, their debate was switching between all sorts of topic as easily as water slipping between your fingers.

Jack smiled fondly at Ray a little, glad that they had found a friend.

Scarab got Kiara's attention and shows her that what she had asked was done. She thanks them for their help.
Ray glances at Jack and grins impishly at him as they go over to him and give him a hug. Because why not. Hugs are awesome.
