"Can you tell us what Jason's markings say?"

He nodded, waddling over to Jason and sitting. He watched them repeat before speaking. "Silvaic ore."

Jason nodded faintly, then started making his markings form more words.

I.S. Tilted his head. "The blade ... was made of it. Poisonous when able to enter the blood stream. It made contact, and so is slowly causing the body to shut down slowly." Shade was silent after, and then seemed to start crying.

"Wait, how do we stop it?"

Icey Shade watched Jasons' markings again as they flickered and flashed something else. "Foreskel has not taught me the way to fix this."

"What are we supposed to do now?"

Jason's markings slowed and stopped.

Shade whimpered, apparently Jason wasn't sure.

"Who else knows how to reverse the effects?"

Jason didn't flash anything, his markings dimming and going out.

The Dark Mistress paced over right then, kneeling by the boy and eyeing him. "The dragons handle this all so much. Plenty of them know, few are trained to take action. But the effects are moving much too quickly in his blood stream to be stopped."

"I don't trust you," he said flatly.

She stood with an emotionless expression. "Fine. Like I would care... Many time lines, none of which include that you would." She said, walking away. But her voice wavered a bit, as if that actually hurt that she wasn't trusted by anyone.

Icey Shade whimpered and tried to climb up onto Jason to snuggle against him.
