He looks at the times, 6:43 pm. He sighs, running a hand through his long black hair. He stands, changing into a tux and walking out of the apartment with a scowl.

By now, the bird is as healthy as it's going to get. Himi is holding the bird gently, stroking her head. The bird was a female cardinal, and was quite young. The little bird had already gotten used to being pet, so she no longer tried to nip Himi when she was held.

He walks up to the agency, deciding to see if the bird was still there. He looks down, not seeing it. He looks up, spotting Himi petting it, his eyes widen in surprise. He gently knocks on the window, confused.

She glances up, then goes back to gently stroking the bird's head.

He opens the window, slowly walking towards her. "You saved it?" He asks, looking at it in surprise. "It's so young..."

She nods. "She's paralyzed, but the impact didn't kill her."

He visibly brightens, he holds up a hand, "Can I pet her?"

She shrugs and holds out the bird, which by now is half asleep.

He gently takes the bird from her, gently petting its neck. He smiles gently, "Cute..."

The cardinal stares sleepily at him. It looks like she's been cleaned, as her feathers are glossy and neat, and much brighter than most wild cardinals appear.
