Vivian opened the door and grinned uncertainly out at him. "I was going to wear a skirt but figured it might be a bit much." She chuckled a little and snagged her keys off the coffee table, tossing them in her bag.

I'd smile at her. "You would of looked great either way." I'd say, before pulling out the bundle of roses out of behind my back. "They were on sale, so i got some for you."

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Wow, they are beautiful," she said, smiling. She took them and buried her nose in the fragrant petals, her eyes closing happily. "These are wonderful, Max. Thank you. I'm going to put them in a vase with some water really quick, feel free to come in," she told him, disappearing back into the house but leaving the door open for him in invitation. Vivian went into the kitchen and grabbed a clear crystal vase down from on top of the cabinets, filling it halfway with water and pouring the little nutrient packet they included in the bundle for the flowers into the water. She cut off the ends of the stems, making sure to make them angled so they would live longer then cut off the rubber band and set the in the vase. She put the roses in the middle of the island then turned back to Max. "Should we head out now?"

"I do. I love them. I haven't gotten flowers in a long time," she said with a chuckle. "Should we do roller coasters first then food so we don't throw up?" Vivian laughed and met his eyes with her sparkling blue ones. "Or eat first, wait a bit, then roller coasters?"
