Kaladin frowned, brow tilted in concern. "Settle down, Kai. He doesn't look like he'd try to attack...."

Kane was just able to hold onto Sunbursts riens as they barreled closer. He was injured with an arrow through his leg. Sunburst slowed a little when he got to them.
"Doc where is he?' Kane gasped when he asked his breathing labored.

"Douglas? Still in the tunnels..." Kaladin started, looking at the arrow wound. "Selkie, help me get him down. It went all the way through; I think I can start treating him here."

Selkie nodded and tired to help get Kane off Sunburst who was accually behaving. Kane was in full armor making him a good deal heavier then normal.
"You know what you're doing right," Kane asked weakly.
Kai was as far as she could be from Sunburst without running away.
Sunburst wanted to stay near his rider.

"Yes. Arrow wounds are not uncommon where I come from." Kaladin replied as he eased Kane to the floor.

Kane groaned his wound throbbing.
Sunburst stood where he was shaking and exusted.
"I'll get the horse." Selkie tried to move Sunburst who refused to move. Sunburst weakly snapped at Selkie.
"Let him stay he's just worried about me. Sunburst saved my life more then once." Kane managed.
"Alright." Selkie dropped the riens.

Kaladin didn't say anything else as he broke the arrow shaft and removed it as gently as he could. "Selkie, do you happen to have anything to use as a bandage?"

"Armor piercing." Kane warned.
Selkie looked around, "No I don't."
"Saddle bag." Kane groaned.
Selkie searched the saddle bag and found a small first aid kit and passed it to Kaladin.

The echidna nodded a thanks and cracked the kit open, taking out a length of bandages and proceeding to tightly wrap it around the wound.

Kane gritted his teeth against the pain and Sunburst nudged him.
"I'm okay buddy I'm okay." Kane gently petted Sunburst's nose.
