He still thought of him as the old Shade, though.

And it is totally understandable.

The baby's tiny front talons started massaging Puck a little bit, in that cat type of way. He seemed pretty calm now.

Puck continued to try and ignore the kid Shade

Jason leaned heavily against either one of them that was the closest. He didn't seem to feel much better now that he was stitched up on the main wound.

Ash had gone to put the kit away, so it was just Puck there

Well, then Jason leaned heavily against Puck. He felt almost like dead weight.

The baby was starting to nod off so he didn't seem concerned for the strange boy.

Puck moved kid Shade to his other arm so he could wrap his free one around Jason

Jason had his eyes closed, barely focusing on his strange breathing pattern. It was a little slow, but each breath seemed a little frantic.

The baby warbled softly before falling asleep.

Which worried Puck, and would've worried Ash, but he wasn't there.

Jason seemed highly unaware of anything, even his breathing. He didn't move other than his breathing, he was just limp. His freckles and underwings slowly where turning black.
