Kai led the way out and found fresh air at last. She went back to the trail then stopped and ran back in the other direction scared.
"Finally free from the caverns." Selkie stretched taking in the fresh air.

It's back, the horse. Kai had her head inbetween her paws and was trembling in fright.
Nearby the sound of a running horse coul be heard. The horse was exusted and sweat coated but his rider needed help badly.
