"Iffin Ah may?" Locke suggested. "We should prob'ly split. two packs o' three?"

"Agreed." Selkie spoke.
"No argurments here." Blue agreed.
Douglas frowned but eventually agreed.
Kai barked in agreement.

Locke nodded. "Right. Chief, Blue, yer with me. Laddie, take care of Kaladin and Kai."

Selkie nodded going down the catacombs.
Kai followed.

"Do think they will be okay," Douglas asked.

"There's always ah chance they won't be." Locke shrugged. "But most likely? They should be well an' tidy, even if they encounter ah snag."

Douglas nodded nervously.

"Chin up, Chief. Ye seen 'em care for themselves, aye?" Locke pointed out with a small smile.

Kaladin trotted down behind Selkie, glancing around curiously.

"Aye." Douglas reluctantly spoke, "but even the best can run into trouble they can't handle."

Kai took the lead and sniffed out a way out.

Locke merely shrugged at this. "Don't worry."

Kal continued down, snanning the narrow hall for any obsticles. Though poor in bright light, his vision in dark places was rather impressive.

Selkie was using his whiskers to help him navigate, by no means way his method perfect but it worked better then nothing.


"Don't say that." Douglas muttered, "Don't ever say that with me."
