Hexic! Can you see me!? She almost yelled, she was really worried about Hexic. Can you hear me?! She ran to Hexic and knelt down.

"Whenever I run into fellow survivors, they always tell me I resist violence too much. I never kill either. I have never even put a scratch on someone." she said to Hexic. "It's very honorable of you." she said with a smile. She then heard Cassie yell and began to back off. she wasn't sure what this was, but it wasn't good.

"Eh, we leave most of our killin' to the Executioners. Bunch of overglorified galactic bounty hunters.
Honestly, the Daarizi as a collective all are uptight and wound up. Our jobs are our lives, our Council's not too kind to those tryin' to ride through life and shirk their orders. Objectives and ranks are everything." He tapped slightly on the symbol of his armor. "And trust me, when it comes to me and Zeizan here, we ain't got too much room to work with. Bunch of grunts kickin' around a space rock light years from our own, just picked hell of a time to touch down, in the middle of a galactic war ground no less."

"The Executioners are hardly overglorified.. Their jobs are essential to eliminate threats in the universe too dangerous to be left alive. Now isn't the time to be discussing our homeworld's organization or any others either."

"Spoken like a true wannabe Executioner. And like I said, uptight.
Look, Zeizan, maybe the Council'll promote ya after this, but you're stuck on this planet like the rest of us until this all blows over." X cracked a window slightly and lit a cigarette with a spark from a finger. "About the kind of mentality I'd expect from someone who sold out to Umbra too."

"I thought you were dead. What else was I supposed to do?! Let them kill me? It probably would have sealed this fate for our planet too, moron."

"Maybe, maybe not, kid. Don't forget we got a reputation. And honestly thought I was dead too, didn't get out of that place unscathed at all and it was gonna be way too dangerous to even waltz on back, knowing how easily they killed the Protectors with us."

"..Don't remind me." Scias dropped his head, solemnly cracking open the can of oil to sip at.

"Can't help it.." X returned the sigh and glanced over at Hexic. "What's wrong with him? I talk him into submission or somethin'?"

"Somehow, no. He has some deficit with his senses. Makes him more of a liability more than anything else." Scias growled lowly under his breath.

"Well, at least I've got company now. And hey, Zeizan, he's just a kid but he's your ally, don't go bein' bitter to him. Never know when he might save your tail."

She narrowed her eyes. Just because he sometimes becomes blind or deaf doesnt mean hes more of a liability. If anything Im a liability. She was still making sure that Hexic was okay.

"You're all nothing but a bunch of liabilities anyways. We're literally accomplishing nothing and-"

X had stepped over to cup his hand over Scias' mouth, elicting a furious spark out of him at his rant interrupted.

"Hey hey, simmer down and don't go lightin' my couch on fire. You know how hard it is to find decent furniture during an apocalypse on a foreign planet anyways?
And hey, Corasi, was it? Do the little guy a favor and give me my visor, gotta make a quick adjustment on it for him, but he can have it.
I can get by without it but it should help correct the whole blindness thing for 'im."

Alright... She got up, found the visor, and gave it to X.

"Hexic watched as everyone talked. He could see fine, just not with color. He didn't see why Corasi got so worried. She really was protective.

He got up and walked over to Basil. She probably wouldn't like him on her shoulder, so he sat on her feet.

X pulled his hand off Scias as he took the visor and plucked a toolkit from a basket under the coffee table. He got to work adjusting small parts on the device before closing everything back up and knelt down to set it on to the cat's head over his eyes.
"Eh, little big but at least like that it basically covers both your eyes. Try not to lose that thing, little buddy, only one like it on this planet. You won't be able to replace it."

You say that like its a bad thing, Hexic. She grinned, knowing he would be annoyed. He better be annoyed after he annoyed me so much.

"Hmm? I don't know what I said. Anyways, I'll try my best not to lose it. One day, I'll probably be able to see without it. But I'm very thankful for it right now!" Hexic said, still sitting on Basil's feet.
