Magnus hit the wall, groaned, and rose, smirking. *now Im ready.*

The guards stop laughing, glancing between the two, one amused, one angered.

Caspian glances at Alex, he growls, rolling his eyes before suddenly walking away. He comes back, having shifted back into his human form and gotten dressed. "You win... I've got to get to a meeting." He mutters, striding off and waving the maids that try to see if he was wounded.

(HE QUIT?!)

Magnus blinked, surprised he would give up. Then he shrugged, grinned, and walked off. Probably to go find Annie. And he hadnt shifted once in the fight.

Alex followed her mate, and smiled. *you did well. My brother has a... unique fighting strategy when training. But he can really fight.*

He snarls, "If he's going to be so arrogant during a fight he should really watch his back, most of the guards here will still fight for a position despite the fact that the tryouts are over. He will not be liked here." He snaps, clearly frustrated. "And if he even thinks he can get comfortable here he's got another thing coming for him." He mutters, walking into the throne room and slamming the door behind him.

Alex followed him in. *he doesnt care if hes liked or not. He just wants to keep his loved ones safe. And that includes you. Also, from how I know him, he never gets comfy. Hes always tense. He just always acts relaxed.*

"I don't like him." He mutters, sitting in his throne slowly. He quickly puts up his guard as the doors open, revealing two guards shoving a filthy boy forward. He suddenly bursts out laughing, quickly standing and walking down to the boy. "Again?! Trace it's the third time this month!" He laughs, the boy rolls his eyes, muttering under his breath.

Alex watched, curious. *Love, whos this?* she asked, gesturing to Trace.

"The famous thief, Trace Polado. My personal favorite." He smiles brightly, fist bumping the kid. Surprisingly the kid slips out of his cuffs and fist bumps him, winking at the guards.

Alex grinned at Trace. *what do you steal, Trace?*

"Food, money, jewels, girls." He winks at the end, earning a half-hearted glare from Caspian.

Trace nods, chuckling.
