He hops down, rushing up to the bird. He inspects it, wincing and looking away. It had broken its neck in the collision, he stands, having lost any interest in staying. He looks down once more before hopping back up onto the tree and then jumping onto the roof, running off.

She frowns when she sees the bird. She opens the window and hops out, carefully picking it up.

He jumps down a few blocks away, startling bypassers. He walks off, the red Mustang following him.

She heads back inside, making a makeshift nest for it out of a towel and a bowl. She tells one of the agents about the injured bird, who agrees to help her heal it.

(How do you heal a bird with a broken neck????????)

He sighs, the image of the bird flashing in his mind constantly.

(Lol idk I'm not a doctor. But I mean a broken neck is survivable.)



She watches the bird silently. It was awake now, but since it'd broken its neck it was of course paralyzed.

(I know that but normally the birds would die in like 5 minutes if not cured right?)

He walks into his apartment, seeing a different secretary. He rolls his eyes, walking up the stairs.

(Again I'm not a doctor so idk)



She gently strokes the bird's head. It squeaks defiantly, but can't do much to stop her.

He sighs, he had always had a thing for animals, seeing the bird like that sort of made his whole mood change, he seemed depressed.

Eventually a veterinarian comes in and does his best to help the bird. He can't fix the fact it's paralyzed, but he does manage to keep it from dying.
