Ash yelped in pain and growled, then backed up and took off.

Myra watched him, confused.

Darius drew a knife from his belt, and flung it toward Ash.
(Let it hit. It'll bounce off.)

Ash winced as it hit, then grabbed it, flung it back, and flew at Darius, axe out.

The knife glanced off Darius' forearm, and Darius braced himself, ready to defend himself.

Ash kept going, then immediately did a front flip above him, causing Ashes tail to smash into Dariuses face.

Darius
Darius saw it coming, and, rather than dodge, let his beak stab into Ash's tail.

Ash schreeched in pain and hit the dirt.

Darius
Darius pulled his beak out, and shook his head violently for a moment, and said, "With a human, that would have worked. Against me, not so much. But, not bad. And, remember, all's fair in war."

Ash nodded.

Myra came over and wrapped Ashes wound with moss and rope like he did to Darius earlier. Then she asked to Darius, *my turn?*
