As Knuckles was thinking these things, six large figures suddenly sprang out of the shadows. They looked a bit like Komodo Dragons with gleaming scales... oh wait. Those arn't scales, that's metal. The machines quickly surrounded the group and attacked!
The battle lasted a lot shorter then any one hoped it would, as the robots had surprise on their side. Tails was taken out realitively quickly with a sharp blow to the head. Knuckles and Amy retaliated, taking out the bot that had hurt their companian.
That moment was short lived, as two other robots ensnared the duo in long, electrified tongues, rendering the Mobians unconssious.
Sonic, who had been occupied battling the other three robots, didn't even see the remaining two slash at him with long claws...
"Mission accomplised," One of the robots buzzed. "Contact the carrier and let them know that we have the prisoners,"

Knuckles didn't know how much time had passed as he gradually became aware of his surroundings. The first thing he noticed was how sore he was; He moaned softly and shifted at the pain. The next thing he noticed was the surface he was on was rather cold and hard, which he didn't have much of an issue with as he'd mastered the art of sleeping practically anywhere. When he opened his eyes, it was dark and kinda fuzzy, and--
Wait, were those cuffs around his wrists? Shoot, He thought. He reluctantly sat up, causeing a rush of pain to surge through him. He winched before proceeding to struggle against his bonds, chains clicking.

I shifted and found my feat and wrists, "Great." I muttered, I looked around but it was too dark to see anything.

Knuckles perked up a bit and looked in the direction of the voice. "Sonic?" Just then, much to the echidna's surprise, the floor shuddered. "Was... was that a turblant?"
