Aspen looked lingeringly at Blue but padded off into the trees.

Blue awoke looking around half asleep. Falcon padded back giving Blue a troublesome grin and dropped two rabbits for her and Elk before returning to the others. Blue had seen this grin before... but not from Falcon. She had seen it before in another nearby town.. (Backflash)

It was a warm stormy night and blue was traveling by rooftop for the first time.. before she had to tackle all the strays on the streets and worry with their trouble and havoc. the storm was awful the worst she had seen since she left the desert. Lightning cracked on the metal rods attached to the roofs sending their small dangerous sparks scattering across the clay shingles. Blue had been struck before when she was little.. and she did not plan on letting it happen again. As she scaled the roof tops silently she could hear talking down below in an ally.. she had learned in the past that stopping to listen was a smart decision... but these street dogs were speaking a language blue had never heard before. Then one of the Yelled "We can't return without her... he will kill us! she is her somewhere.." Blue tilted her head who where these strays? just then she heard the other one speak up " Her Name Is Bluejay.. o one else around these parts has a name like that" another spoke this one a female " Her Handsome brother has been tracking her for days.. he might lead us right too her" " Oh stop Drooling Cypress.. He is just a weak sand puppy" Blue flattened her ear and attempted to leap to the next building but the rain and slick clay got the best of her. with a thud she hit the ground. She could hear the three speak in their foreign language again without hesitation she got to her feet and drew her sword slashing it quickly across the large males muzzle before sprinting down the ally way. before she reached the end She fell to the ground pinned under the male's paws. He gave her a troublesome grin... one you never forget.... .She used all of her strength to pull her sword from under her. her sword finaly came from under their weight and its blade landed deep in the males face. blue wiggled free from his grasp and bolted off. before she got too far she caught his name.... Ash

(back in real time)... He has not seen them before ... has he? her ears flattened she knew she could not hide for long.. Just then she realized Aspen was missing.. " Aspen! " She accidentally yelled out

Aspen's ears cocked. Did someone yell my name? He asked himself. Proably not, but I best go cheak... But then he saw the squrrel chattering madly. He stared at it. It was talking to something. Aspen leapt up the tree next to it gracefully, and crept sliently alomg the brach so he could see who the squrrel was talking to. A female zolnixi. His eyes widened and he hurried off to find everyone.

He was oout of breath by the time he reached Blue and Elk. All he could say was "SQURREL! A NIXI!" before colapsing.

Blue flattened her ears... had they come? her sealing still needed a few hours...she was so confused and frightened all she could do was stare at Aspen collapsed in front of her. After a moment she stood and took up her sword she felt that feeling again the need to protect... She stood beside Aspen and in front of Elk with a sharp flick of her tail the dangerous blue sparks covered her body and sparked off her sword. She did not care if the sealing was finished or how much the Volts hurt she needed to protect them.... And if it was Ash she would have no choice..

Aspen got up breathing heavily. "The... squrrel... talked... in... tree... with... female... nixi... smelt... bad..." He looked at Blue questioningly, "they... said- something to about Falcon... but, I know, or thought I knew, the nixi..." hs face was grave.

The Sparks illuminated her bright blue eyes " they are here.... There are three of them.... And I think Falcon is with them.." Her voice cracked with a hint of pain but her face showed none

Elk looked at blue and aspen, elk wanted to help so she followed the squirrels sent
Elk stopped dead in her tracks three of them stood in front of the squirrel in a small open area elk stayed I the shadows and climbed up a tree quitely she translated the words that they said "we going to have to split up to find her mr.squirrel can go and find them the new one should be with them" one of the males said "the squirrel nodded and headed in the direction she just came from elk staid in the tree and listened to the other nixis conversation before they split up and disappeared in the shadows elk clime bed down the tree and quickly ran to were she found the squirrel the squirrel looked at her and elk started to go the opposite direction of blue and the others hoping to mess them up by leading them the wrong way

"If so," Aspen contiued, after Elk had rushed off, "Falcon knows my sister."

"How?" Blue asked tilting her head

(oh dear... just realised who you ment Ash -but Aspens sister said he'd died DUH DUH DDUUUUUUHHHHH!!! :P)
