Mitch sighed and walked closer to her playing the end of the song. Mitch finished it and held the guitar away from him by it's neck. "Please Ember. Look at me." He said before an idea popped into his head. "Sometimes in our lives we all have pain, We all have sorrow" He sang softly looking up at Ember's face. "But if we are wise, We know that there's always tomorrow...." He put his guitar down carefully. "Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on." He sang closing his eyes a little. If he had to pick a second favorite song it'd have to be this one.

A'ine shrugged. "I think I'm going to stay here and explore the lake." She said in a normal tone. It was quite a trip to her home in the sea.

Phinesa grabbed Saffy's hand and pulled her out the door. "We'll be back!" She said happily to Saquia. She closed the door behind them and dragged her down the hall a little.

Ilandere had stood up while Alice and Kanin had started arguing. She felt awkward listening to it but waited for them to leave before nodding a fair well to them before turning quickly to run outside.

Ember looked at Mitch, and smiled slightly. "Lean, swallow your pride. If I have things that you need to borrow. For no one can fill those of your needs, that you won't let show," she sang softly. She suddenly turned and did something she had never expected she would do. She hugged Mitch hesitantly, wondering if he would mind. She somehow doubted he would mind.

Orion nodded. "Sounds fun. Is anyone else staying here?" he asked, ruling out Alderic because he had already told him his plans.

"See ya later!" Saffy said to Saquia before running to keep up with Phinesa as she dragged her down the hall. She almost tripped over her own feet, trying to keep up.

Kanin sighed. They had managed to chase of llandere already. He shifted into a rabbit, and bounded off the table after llandere. He didn't go after Alice because he knew she would want to be alone, even if it was only for a bit. Cheshire leapt gracefully to the floor, and followed llandere as well, darting underneath the tables, and around the legs of the other students.

Alice stormed outside, shivering in the suddenly cold air. She felt bad for talking to llandere like that, and turned to look around for her. She spotted her running outside, and ran in her direction, hoping to make an apology, i.e a disquised one.

Mitch smiled and wrapped his arms around her smiling. He hummed the next verse before singing he course again. "Lean on me, when you're not strong And I'll be your friend I'll help you carry on For it won't be long 'Til I'm gonna need Somebody to lean on..." He sang softly glad that Ember didn't have to carry everything by herself, she had friends now, including himself. Mitch knew A'ine wouldn't let Ember do anything that could hurt her friend by herself. He stood there hugging her humming the song over and over.

A'ine shrugged. "I don't know. I think A'eda'n's going to go someplace with someone from our class and I don't know about Ember or Mitch." She couldn't help but smile a little from just saying their names before she furrowed her eyebrows together worried.

Phinesa shook her head glaring at herself. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid!" She muttered to herself getting louder each time. She pounded her forehead with the heel of her palm each time she said the word.

Ilandere sighed getting outside. She walked quickly lifting her dress skirt to keep from tripping herself. She got far enough away from the castle before changing into a large dragon. Normally her scales would be pitch black but the moon was out and her scales literally glowed with a purple tint as she started to fly up. She was already feeling the energy course through her as she sighed in a growling dragon voice. She flew up above the clouds her eyes closed as she flew around.

Jora got to the woods and walked in a bit until she saw Alderic's flame go out. He must be carrying something... She thought walking toward the sound of Alderic grunting out.... circus announcements? She broke through the last of the trees coming face to face with Alderic as he hefted an arm load of wood. "Here let me help." She said taking the top few logs.

Alderic smiled at Jora. "Cool look." He said smiling at her. Jora looked down at her clothes still not used to them at all. "Uh... Thanks?" She mummered. Alderic beamed looking at Jora's hair. He knew it wasn't exactly a manly hobby but with five sisters around you you pick up on a few things, including hair and make-up things. He was amazed by the skill it must have taken to do it.

Ember buried her face in Mitch's chest, listening to him hum. She stepped back and looked Mitch in the eyes, blushing slightly. "Thank you Mitch," she said, trying to resist apologizing because she knew he would admonish her for it.

"What's wrong? Worried about Ember?" Orion asked. Honestly, he was getting worried about them as well.

Saffy grabbed Phinesa's wrist to stop her facepalming. "What's wrong?" she asked, looking worried. She quickly shifted her expression to a smile.

Alice halted as she saw llandere take to the skies. She hunkered down in the tall grass when she saw Chesire and Kanin stop their mad dash towards llandere. She saw Kanin's nose twitch, and she realized he had picked up her scent. She turned, and hopped away, towards the forest, wanting to be alone. She knew Kanin wouldn't follow her because he knew she would want to be alone.

Kanin transformed back into a human, with his bunny ears. Cheshire transformed as well. "That did not work out as planned," he said, sighing. "I'm sure we'll see her again," Cheshire said, pulling her hair back from her face.

Mitch couldn't help grinning like a dork when Ember hid her face. It'd disappeared after she pulled away replaced by a kind smile. "It was an honor to serve the lady of high standings." He said stepping back a little in a bow. He picked his guitar back up. "Come on. We'd better get back." He said holding a hand out toward her.

A'ine nodded. "What if... What if she needed help blocking something. It'll be all my fault if she's hurt..." She thought to herself before thinking back to Ember and Mitch singing on the bench in the hallway. She felt slightly better Mitch had gotten Ember out of her shell a little before so maybe he'd be able to help.

Phinesa pulled her wrist away. "I was stupid! You saw Saquia's face, she's going to cry again!" She said angrily, still hating herself. She gasped and sighed. "Sorry, Saffy... I'm just mad at myself... Roron taught her to draw..." She said looking down at the floor.

Ilandere closes her eyes feeling how to move from the moon. She tilted flying in an off pattern.

Ember took Mitch's hand and turned to walk to the cafeteria, willing herself not to blush. "High standings?" she inquired, wondering what he was referring to. 'A'ine?'Ember threw the thought out in the air, wondering if Orion and A'ine were still in the cafeteria. Plus, A'ine had probably seen her run out of the cafeteria.

"Hey, don't blame yourself. You must have noticed how hard she was trying to hold her anger in. If you had gone, she would have just held it in more," Orion said.

"Ah, so that's what it was. It wasn't your fault. I was the one who brought up drawing," Saffy said, her expression turning to one of worry again. "Besides, you've cried before, right? It actually feels kinda good. She's probably been keeping in her emotions since she got here. It's good she has an excuse to let them out," Saffy said. She didn't like how Phinesa kept berating herself.

Alice wandered over to the lake and flopped down on the beach, looking up at the stars. She wished she could fly, so she could apologize. Not that she really needed to apologize. Not at all. She just wanted Kanin to have a friend so he would stop bugging her. Or so she told herself.

Cheshire sighed. "What should we do now?" she asked Kanin. "I suppose we just wait. i don't want to leave on that note." Kanin replied. He walked over to a bench under a lamppost and pulled out a book.

Mitch smiled as he aimed a little to the woods. "Your bag is back here." He said before looking at her smiling brightly. "Well, fair ma'am, you act with a grace that would place you above most." He said, saying a line from one of the plays he had been in. He lightly squeezed her hand, his was still fairly cold.

A'ine sighed. "No, that wouldn't have happened." She said standing up. "Come on. It's been ten minutes." She said picking up Ember's and Mitch's food.

Jora and Alderic got back to the bluff where he left his bags. "Thanks for coming up to help." He said smiling as he started a pile of wood. Jora smiled as she added the wood she had to the pile. "So, why're you all 'did up'?" He asked referring to it like his sisters did.

Jora shrugged. "My roommate decided I looked like a Barbie?" She said with a shrug as they started walking back into the woods to collect some more fire wood.

Phinesa shook her head. "No. you may have said it but I almost said his name and reminded her about it!" She said turning away angry at herself again. "And she shouldn't have to cry...."

Ilandere flew above the clouds to where no one below could see her. She loved being alone with the moon. Just flying near it calmed her.

Ember altered her course and followed Mitch. Her face heated up at his compliment. "I don't really have much grace...." she said doubtfully, trying to think of something she did that would make Mitch think she was graceful.

Orion stood up. "Want me to take one?" he asked, leaning down to grab his bag, and walking over to A'ine.

Saffy hopped over in front of Phinesa. "Then should we go back?" she asked, looking worridly at Phinesa. She didn't like seeing her friend mad, especially at herself.

Alice grabbed a stone and trying to skip it but she kind of failed. Not even one skip. She took off both her shoes, and her socks, and grabbed fistfuls of her dress, hoisting the skirt of it to her knees. She waded in the lake up to her knees, staring out across the water.

Mitch smiled a little picking Ember's bag back up. He decided to go on to a new play, one that he had actually acted in. "Ah yes, however in your hast to correct me, you have forgotten that grace can mean beauty." He said avoiding looking at her as his hand got colder from his nervousness.

A'ine shook her head. "I have it." She looked at his bag. "What's in there?" She asked wondering.

Phinesa shook her head. "No... She's crying now and will hate herself if I see her crying." She said begrudgingly as she walked around Saffy.

Ilandere could feel herself relax, not even worrying about anything. She circled slowly flapping only when she would fall close to the clouds.

Jora walked into the woods carefully keeping her legs from getting scratched up. Alderic following her keeping eyes open for wood.

Ember turned to look at Mitch in surprise. "What- What did you just say?" she asked, hesitantly. She felt Mitch's hand get colder. She gripped his hand tighter. No one had ever said anything like that to her before. She smiled as she realized he was refusing to look at her.

"School stuff, drawing stuff, random stuff, lost stuff that I haven't seen in fifty years," Orion replied, only half joking as he followed A'ine.

Saffy turned and fell into step with Phinesa. "Like you're hating yourself now?" Saffy said, not mockingly, she was just trying to make a point.
