Puck watched, but also got a little worried, because he obviously wasn't a distraction anymore.

Ash didn't notice. "And we don't want you hurt."

Shade rapped his fingers on his scythe and licked his teeth as he tightened his grip on the pole.

Jason sighed, fire flickering along his shoulders a bit. "Then I guess I can't get you to agree not to jump in."

Puck called out to Shade

"Not if it gets bad enough, no."

Shade ignored Puck.

Jason lowered his head, shadow falling over his eyes. "Then I'll just have to keep you both away." he said softly, then took a swaying step back and stamped a foot down. The ground shook as his eyes turned to their bright flaming colors as they looked to Ash. He lifted a hand and fire lit along the ground, quickly burning a circle around his brother and himself and bursting up in a white wall of heat.

Both boys scrambled to get away from the fire, Ash shaking his head

Shade laughed, calling Jason a fool.

Jason sighed. "I'm sorry, I know you both care. But I'm not losing more people I care for to my brother. Because this time, I can do something." He turned to Shade, hair catching on fire as he changed form. His scythe formed in his left hand, he swung it in front of himself then to the side. "Let's end this. Right here. Right now."

Shade was laughing like crazy. "Oh! You think you can really do any better than you did for years ago?"

"Shut your mouth, I'm tired of you. You're all talk and no fight." Jason growled, voice changing and doubling. His tail swished, now dragon legs taking a step back.

Both of them were silent

Shade was about to say something when Jason stalked over, Shade taking a step back before leaping to the side away from Jason's downward attack with the scythe. He was going to fight this time, for more than just his family now.

"We have to do something!"
"I'm not sure we can," Ash mumbled grimly

Shade tried to swing at Jasons' wings but Jason dug his own blade into his brothers wing. "AHHHH!" Shade screamed in pain.

Jason grinned, raking it down his brothers wing and ripping it. "I do think Lavender understands that type of pain." He said, scythe pinning Shades' wing to the ground.

Shade panted a bit, pain ripping through him as the black stuff could do no good for his wing. He tried to attack Jason, but only succeed in ripping his wing off the blade.
