Shade growled as he hit the log instead. He had to take a moment to get his balance back.
Jason put an arm around his torso, blood soaked into his hoodie. "I have an idea." He said, markings still lit even though red speckles covered up most of their glow. "I... I can force him to take a second chance. I can end it once and for all, if I get as close as I did before."

Eventually it angered Shade, now black markings lighting up and dark spikes trying to pop up under Puck.
Jason sighed. "I know it is. But I'm going to take that risk ... he's still my brother, I guess I don't 100% want to kill him."
