"Sorry Luke.....so so sorry....sorry sorry sorry." She murmured,saying sorry multiple times. She hadn't hurt Luke but she had scared him bad to the point where he had actually gone pale,and he usually didn't show fear. She remembered his fluffy curls and deep blue eyes. Those tired eyes and a sleepy smile that pushed through no matter what happened. But the anger he had shown when he had electrocuted her,it was still there in her mind and it had scared her. And no matter how she tried to remember her mother it only fell to remind her of where her mother had put her,what had been done to her all those years. The one friend she had ever met before Kate,Luke,had hurt her and forced her to ferocity.

Kate squeezed D tighter. She was tempted to ask about what had happened to Luke, but she held her tongue and just focused on comforting Diana.

She soon relaxed in Kate's arms,her wings folding tightly in like a little dragonet's.

Kate didn't stop hugging her. She had to make sure that D was 100% happy before she could do that

"Sorry.....Very sorry.....can hurt Kate...yet still stays...why,don't know." She said softly to Kate.

"Why are you sorry? You have no reason to be. Just because you can hurt me doesn't mean that I don't care for you. As I said before, I could hurt people, too."

"No....fire....claws....fangs...." She muttered,shaking her head faintly. It would be hard to fully change her mind about what she thought she was. For 12 years she had been raised and told that she was a monster,that she wasn't worth anything,and that she was nothing but a threat. They had put chains lining her arms and legs and tail,binding her wings tightly and around her throat to hold her to a wall. To keep her from squirming. A metal muzzle,huge and bulky,to stop her fire and teeth. It had stayed on for at least 3 weeks at a time,only removed when they wanted to work on her and test her. She hadn't been able to practice words,only learned to listen closely and learn quickly because soon most of the things she tried to learn where taken away so that she couldn't. So she had learned to learn quickly.

"So? You haven't used them for anything bad." She was about to say 'since' but she didn't. She kept her arms tight around D.

She nodded,cuddling faintly into her. She soon relaxed fully,sniffling faintly and wiping a golden eye with a frail hand.

Kate pulled away, but only a little so she could look into D's eyes. Her hands were now on Diana's face, holding her chin up. She didn't say anything
