Dreamer looks at Val, I feel sorry for her.

"Maverick maybe I don't like being messed with," Desta responds, "because I just hit a rock with my shoulder nothing worse."
Loki shakes his head, No she is lying.

"Desta, if it was nothing you would let me look because I would just blow it off because it wasn't severe. Let me look."

Yeah...Maybe if she wasn't so stubborn, this would be easier.

Panting heavily Desta smarls, "Fine."

Loki sighs in relief, Thank goodness that is over.
Dreamer looks at Val, Is everything okay?

"First, promise that you aren't going to hurt me," he said warily.

Hmm? Oh yeah, I'm fine, just a little worried about Desta.

Desta glares at him, "You are very lucky I keep my word. Fine."


Dreamer shakes her head, I'm worried too but this is for the best.

"I know. That's why I made you promise." He lifted the back of her shirt to get a good look at her shoulder

How can you be so sure?

I'm not sure but I like to be optomistic, Dreamer replies.

The wound is angery, infected even through the bandages. Desta winces when Maverick removes her sleeve from her shoulder.

"What happened?" He asked, drawing in a breath as he looks at the wound.

Val shook her head. How about now?

Not good, Loki whinnies softly, not good at all.

"It happened on the day that we encountered the demon horse and met Dreamer," Desta explains, 'I scrapped it on a rock when I lured the demon horse away."

"Okay, well I'm going to have to use disinfectant...so I need you to hold still
