Iskren looks surprised, like he's never seen Latan so sincere before.

I glance at Iskren "what does he mean... I am not the brightest... I don't know what he means..." I say before looking back at Latan.

Iskren just silently does the universal 'even-if-I-did-know-I-wouldn't-care-enough-to-say gesture.

Latan sighs. "What I'm trying to say is, don't downplay and curse your gifts. That's how you become like Sibnele. All depressed and insane, the whole package."

I smile "you're too sweet" I say "it's just... I have almost died... because I was different... I was forced into a new home with strangers for parents..." I said and sighed "I don't know my parents... I don't know where I am from originally..." I said and shrugged, "Better not to know I guess..." then I smiled again and leaned against the tree again.

Latan opens his mouth as if he's about to say something, but then just shakes his head to himself. A few seconds pass, then he speaks. "Everyone dies twice. You are one of the few that have not perished once."

Iskren melts into an aura of blue, which eventually dissipates. Suddenly, he appears next to you two. "Hi."

"hello" I said glancing at him then leaning against the tree again.

Iskren glances up. "Nice weather we're having." The atmosphere is officially awkward now.

"Awh, come on, Ren," Latan says. "You're raining on my parade here."

I face palm "well... It's now awkward... we got hotheaded pun master over here and Iskren..." I say sighing head still in hands.

Iskren glares at Latan, who returns this with (owo). A few seconds go by. . .
