Alastor nods his head.

"so, uh, i now this seedy motel on the edge of town no one will find us in" i say, shrugging. since all we have is the cash in our pockets, it might be the only thing we can afford. lets just hope we don't run into anyone on the way, i do not fancy getting killed again. it hurts.

Alastor nods his head. "Okay and lead the way," Alastor said.

looking around, i try to remmeber the way to the motel. if we're by the Kill Count headquarters, then the hotel should be down the road and then take a left...right? yeah probably.

"follow me!" i say, trying to sound more confident than i actually am. i lead the group down the road, sticking to the sidewalk close to the buildings.

Irin resists the urge to roll her eyes. This was just great. She follows the two, seemingly at ease. She doesn't bother trying to sneak around as she's found that doing that draws attention - at least when she had others to blend in to it worked. Her stride is purposeful and her pose radiated confidence. The first death had been a mistake. She would learn and do better. She'd rise above the rest. There wasn't anything that would hold her back. Irin releases a short sigh, clears her thoughts, and keeps her wits about her.

soon enough, i manage to navigate us to the shady motel, holding the door open for everyone to come through. tugging out my wallet, i pull out a wad of cash, thumbing through it to see how much i have. 97 dollars in total, including change.


all my cards are cancelled, the dot on the corner glowing red to indicate so. the others cards are too, i assume that is the work of Kill Count. "does anyone have any cash? it's 45 a night and we're going to be staying here for awhiel" i grimace, looking at the cash in my hands. it will get us a room for a few nights, but not many.

Alastor when to his pocket and pulled out a 100 dollar bill. "Would this work?" Alastor asked.

Irin takes out her wallet and shuffles through it, keeping care to prevent her weapons from activating. She didn't bother having change on her; she usually kept it in her car, the safe at her home, or on her cards. "I've got twenty dollars in my car, for sure. I have.. five dollars on hand." She says, showcasing her range of spare coins. "And more at home." It's fairly obvious she didn't make a habit of keeping money on her. She checks, "We also have to think about the cost of food, right?"

"i didn't even think about food or amenities" i say, shaking my head "thank you, though" i say, accepting the cash from her "so i guess we can stay here for two nights before we have to find somewhere cheaper" i say, frowning.
