She ran down the alleyways, already lost. She quickly found herself in a fork, turning left... and running into a dead end.

Latte looked around in shock, eyes wide, "Wh-here are we," He asked, voice wavering a bit, "And kidnapping people will deffaintly not help you survive. Chikatu would kill anyone who dared hurt me..." He shook his head, clearing his thoughts as he went silent.

He chased her until the dead end, panting a bit.

Abyss stepped back, the place was white, but warm. It had a few things. Books, drawings and strange glowing orbs. The orbs where of all sorts of colors. Spare magic.

"I know. And I can't be killed, but I can fix any wound Jaspy gets." He said, sitting down in one of the bean bag seats that was also there. "Just sit and wait. I won't hurt you."

Chikatu stared at him, "You have wings, I have speed," She said leaping up as she ran up the wall, quickly pulling herself on the roof before she could fall.

Latte looked around in awe, pulling a book out of his jacket as he flipped to a page.
"'All beings die eventually, other then guardians and rare creatures'..." He read it out loud, "Are you one of those rare creatures?"
He didn't sit, just looked around curiously.

Jasper growled, sprouting his wings again and struggling into flight. His wing was still hurt, but he was able to claw his way up after her.

"I... don't know." He said, staring down. He yelped and stood up quickly as black and purple veins started creeping from himself into the bean bag seat. He sighed sadly, starting to pace. "I've never known anyone like myself, but what does that matter?"

Chikatu was running across the rooftops. Her tail swished behind her. Her ears where swiveling around nervously. She was trembling a bit, thoughts focused on Latte.

"No reason," Latte said with a sigh, not wanting to admit that he couldn't read his thoughts... or soul.
He watched him curiously, "So what do you want with me," He looked at the orbs, "You must feed off magic energy? That must be why you want us... isn't it?"

He chased after her, shifting to his dragon form and running after her. His steps shaking the buildings beneath them.

"... I do feed off magic. And... the voice said that if we got you both, then I wouldn't have to go hungry again. " He sighed, staring hungrily at a blue orb in a glass jar. "That would be something new, never feeling the ravonous hunger in my stomach ever again. Not having to drain it from Jasper, not having to eat any souls any more. It sounds like a dream."

Chikatu stumbled as the building swayed under her feet. She fell right when she was supposed to jump, plummeting to the ground. She landed heavily on her left foot as she yelped in pain. She fell forward, her left leg not able to support her weight.

"I'm sorry to hear that, but sadly that breaks rule number 49, 'No guardian is allowed to meddle with other peoples problems'," He said casually though there was pity in his eyes, "I wish I could help but I can not."

He leaped down after her, gracefully landing besides her.

He sighed, putting his hands over his face as he shifted back to a human like form. "Rules, the way things have to be. Always I'm left out, always I'm not supposed to be. Always, always always."

She hissed at him, swinging at him wildly with her sword. She tried to inch away, eyes tearing up from the pain she felt in her leg.

Latte looked nervous, putting his book away. He took an uneasy step back, nervous.
"I'm s-sure you can fig-gure out somethin-ng," He stuttered nervously pushing his glasses up.

He sighed, putting a talon down on her. "Guess now I should call Abyss."

Abyss sniffled, seeming to break down.
