"Sure, it's pretty painful to have hot metal on skin. If it's hot enough, that's how people brand things. But, no, I don't think the metal is hurt. As for the person being touched with the hot metal..." Jordyn pauses and looks at Asher. "It's not the best thing, but it's not the worst. It's better to stop the bleeding than to bleed out."

,, But doesnt bleeding stop on its own? ,, She must not have ever seen someone do this before.

"Not if you hit a main artery, then you usually bleed and bleed until you have nothing left to bleed. I wanted to make sure. Never can be too careful." Jordyn says.

Shes clearly still confused. Which makes sense- raiju anatomy is very different from other sapient species. Theyre closer to sentient robots than living things, so they dont function the same as Asher does.

"I don't know if you would have to do it. You're a different species than us." Jordyn notes, shrugging.

She nods. ,, I dont think I have arteries. Or blood, for that matter. Its some sort of golden thing. People usually call it ichor but I know thats not what it is. ,,

"Huh. Interesting. Good thing I won't have to worry about trying to help heal you." Jordyn says.

She smiles and nods. ,, I can heal myself. The gold blood stuff hardens pretty quickly. ,,

"Lucky. That doesn't happen to us." Jordyn notes.
