Micah smiled softly, his eyes glittering. "No. It isn't your fault that you happened to be born with horns. Or grew them or whatever. You didn't ask for it. I think it was just Fate playing a mean roll on you. And you can't help that. Besides, I wouldn't befriend someone who I thought was a monster, or a demon, or anything like that."

Ray was super duper happy. "Oh, thank you!" He says, wrapping Micah in a tight hug, using his wings and arms. "Thank you, thank you, thank you." He repeats. Ray wasn't sure when the last time someone had said or implied that was. Score! Good looking and nice. Wait, stop. You can't do this to yourself. It's bound to end in some sort of heart break or disappointment. You don't know Micah enough. He probably has a girlfriend and probably doesn' return any feelings you have for him. Ray's grip on Micah lessens, and he hesitantly stops hugging Micah.
"Sorry." Ray mutters. "For getting into your space."

(italics is when he's thinking to himself. (just clarifying in case I haven't already))

Aw man I'm gonna be super sad to not be able to partake in this roleplay for a bit ;n;)

Micah laughed, grinning. "It's alright. I'm always down for a hug." He continued walking to the cabin, opening the door and stepping to the side to let Ray go first.

Ray smiles a thanks, giving Micah another hug since he had said he was fine with hugs, and then enters the cabin. "Thanks for letting me stay with you for a night." Ray says, looking around for an empty bed.

Micah smiled again. "Of course. Camp hospitality, after all. Plus, we are friends." Micah points to an empty bed above one with a few hoodies on it. "You can sleep there. Wilson isn't here right now, so sorry about the mess on the bottom bunk."

Friends. We are friends. Ray felt happy and warm and at peace and a bunch of other emotions all at once when he heard that. "The mess is fine. Thank you again." Ray says, heading to the bed and slowly nodding off.

The next morning, Ray was up before the sun. He had already taken a shower, gotten changed, flew around camp once, and was chilling on the beach running a few fingers through the water. His hoodie was off and hanging around his waist via the arms.

Micah woke up not long after the sun had risen. He got up and looked over to Ray's bed, which was empty. He frowned and, grabbing a jacket, walked outside. He usually went to check on the plants before getting ready for the day, so he did that then got ready.

He walked back out of the cabin, looking around for Ray. He saw him down at the beach and smiled, jogging over to him. "Hey, Ray! Good morning."
