You walk out the door. "Where do we go to look?" Lilly asks, and then adds, "Maybe the forest or the beach? They both seem mysterious and whimsical."

Lilly nods. You walk outside the library and see the forest up ahead. "Ah, the forest. It's whimsical and great. What's better? Nothing, that's the answer. Oooo, and we'll see birds and fish in the pond and-" Lilly pauses.
You hear a buzzing noise up ahead. "Bzzzzzzzz" it calls. Soon, you get to the brim of the forest, the buzz gets louder as you walk deeper into the forest, until you see a strange necklace. That is what the buzzing is coming from? No way. You think.
You have the urge to pick it up and put it on. Soon, you see words imprinted on the side of it, THE NECKLACE OF MANY THOUGHTS.

After you check on Exponentia, you find the earrings in The Enchanted Fields book. The description? Here it is:
Serena's Earrings
These earrings were enchanted by a young witch named Serena, after she enchanted them, she suddenly disappeared. It was unknown where she hid until 1990 - A young boy named Max Orla found her in The Enchanted Fields. She gave the earrings to Max in return.
The earrings are capable of talking to nature, and it is unknown where they are.
Then, you see a different handwriting on the page, but it is very small and you can barely make it out.
(I'm going to use your idea of the white stuff)

When you flip to a different page, you find what you were looking for, but not in Max's handwriting.
