Kusuo rubbed the bridge of his nose, inhaling sharply. 'Teruhashi doesn't feel safe around you anymore. Every time you walk up to her, she tenses up. She doesn't tell you anything, and you can't pick out a present for her because of this. You're ruining your relation with her.'

"But why?! I'm her brother, and I've made it clear that I love her! What should I do?" Makoto collapsed into Saiki's chair with a frown.

'Give up? The problem is that you love her too much. She doesn't reciprocate. You need to learn to let her go before you completely destroy any chance at acting like siblings. If the feelings don't go away then at least pretend they do until she leaves.' Kusuo got up, expecting the conversation to be over. He picked up the book he was reading before.

"I can't just give up! It's going to be hard . . ." He glanced over at Saiki. "I know! Every time I feel like doing something to Kokomi, I'll visit you instead! You're a complete loser, and you remind me of what I'm doing and why! It's perfect!"

Kusuo's eye twitched again. He sat up, book forgotten. 'I listened to your problems, no way in hell am I doing all of that for you. Go see a shrink or something.' He huffed.

Makoto had already left, laughing at the brilliance of his plan. "Maybe . . . maybe I can patch things up with Kokomi, at least as siblings." He nodded with a small smile. Actually, now that he thought about it, he heard all of this about hurting Kokomi before. Why had he listened to the pink-haired boy?

Kusuo paused, glaring at the doorway Makoto had left from. He slipped on his germanium ring, not needing to listen to whatever was going through his head. He'd probably forget this visit anyways.

Makoto lowered his disguise once he reached his home, shutting the door firmly behind him. That visit had gone well, now then, what was Kokomi doing? He sho- . . . Makoto stared at the floor. Already? No, it's not like Four Eyes would know what the thought anyways! But he wasn't doing this for him, was he? He bit his lip, glancing to where Kokomi was sitting. He turned tail, quickly making his way back to the other's house.

Kusuo sighed, slipping off the ring once he made sure the other was far enough. He may hate hearing others thoughts, but he hated being surprised more. Well, he had time now anyways. He settled back into the bedding, flipping open the book yet again. He paused, eye twitching. 'Seriously?'

Makoto raised his hand, knocking on the door to the residence. He was out of breath, having run most of the way. "Not even an hour and I've failed . . ."
