Luna heard a scream from quite a few blocks away, she was tempted to go into her hero form and what that was, but the local police probably could handle it right, but nonetheless, she was worried

"They came from this way!" Sonic (unhelpfully) shouted back to Knuckles, who was lagging behind a bit.
"Well, yeah Sherlock." Knuckles shot back as the pair slowed to a halt in the feilds just outside the town.
"Fan out?" Sonic proposed.
"Yes." Knuckles growled before stalking off.

Luna decided to check it out
She took a lunch break and left then head to an ally and switched to her hero form
Rune then used the roof tops to get to we're the screams were coming from, there were two creatures there, one blue the other red, they were walking away from each other
Rune decided to ignore them for now, but she would probably run into them soon enough
She looked around for the cause of the screams

It wasn't long before Knuckles paused, hearing a small, metallic click. As he steadily backed up, his gaze swept over the grassy area in search of the source. I'd recognize that sound anywhere... He thought.

Luna head it too
She didn't trust it
She cautiously got closer
Silent, it would be hard to hear her, even less so notice her

It didn't take Sonic long to notice Knuckles' abrupt pause. In the blink of an eye, the hedgehog was standing beside his companion. "Found something?" He inquired in a low voice.
The echidna nodded once in response. "Blaster safety."
Soniv frowned. "Shoot. Where is it?"
Knuckles vaguely gestured with a brief wave of his hand. "That way."

Rune starts heading that way
She is quite, and you still can barely see her

"Watch my back." Sonic requested before steadily making his way toward the source of the noise. Knuckles inclined his head in affirmative, already anticipating a surprise attack.

Felinus had heard the screams with his fine tuned hearing. biting his lip in brief indecision he changed course for an abandoned building. Changing to his super form he streaked off in the direction of the sound. His case would have to be postponed for a short while. He dodged around obsticles with ease. He slowed down as he reached the area deciding to take the time to check things out. Crouching behind a bush he peered about noticing the two figures from the past couple of days. At least they did not seem to be causing the trouble, although they did not act like civilians in need of help either. He watched curiously from his hiding place.

Sonic briefly glanced around. Narrowing his eyes, he soon caught a gimpse of the sunlight reflecting of an object some distance away. "...Yep. There's something shiny over there." He reported.
"Badniks?" Knuckles asked.
"If experiance is any indication, yes. This won't take long." Sonic shrugged, getting ready to rush them. Knuckles crouched low in the tall grass. "Save some for me."
"Pfft. If you're fast enough." The hedgehog snarkily replied before charging. Knuckles rolled his eyes at the quip before disappearing underground.
