Trickster looks over at Absolute Zero and turns back to Tia. "I wouldn't mind meeting the others." he says out of curiosity.

She nods to where the others are sitting. "I'm gonna stretch for a few moments, but you can go there. You could also tell them that it is not very polite to eavesdrop, if you want." Exponentia purred amused.

Absolute Zero was staring at Trickster now, tilting his head slightly to the side, causing his ears to flop. "So I see you've met Tia. My name's Vale, except it isn't."

Trickster looks at Absolute Zero and says, "Everyone here is so careful about their names. Tia said you'd be able to explain."

Draco: *Tail moves slowly around*
Samhain: *Yawns slightly*
Eggy: *Plays with the dirt*
Flame: *Happily sits in the tree*

"Well. I thought it was just me. The trio over there," Absolute Zero gestured to Draco's group, "had no issue telling me their names, or so I assume."

"If you're wondering, though, words have power, and what is a name but a unique word? Tia's partially correct in that identification becomes that much easier, but I met someone once whose magic revolved entirely around names, specifically, his opponent's." The Ryori grinned. "I know, sounds fanciful. Beats me how he did it, but was able to counter my entire combat style from my name alone."

Draco: *Stretches*
Samhain: *Digging a hole*
Flame: *Still in the tree*
Eggy: *curls tail*

Trickster is surprised by Absolute Zero's story. He ponders around, wondering if he should believe it. Trickster thought to himself, "How does someone counter a combat style from just knowing their name?" Trickster watches Draco's group for a while but then turns back to Absolute Zero. "Who did you go against?"

Exponentia looks over at Trickster and Absolute Zero and pads over to them. "They do it using magic. I once knew someone who was trying to kill me, and she made the mistake of telling me her name. By doing so, she unwittingly allowed me access into her mind, where I accidentally let her know my name. That rendered both of our magic useless against each other, and things had to get much messier." She said. "She was better trained than me, and if she hadnt told me her name, she could have killed me within 2 days. Thats why Im so careful with names."

Draco: *Stands up and looks up at Flame* what are you doing?,
Looking for nuts?....
Flame: yes
Samhain: *Has made herself a burrow, is inside it with Eggy*
