He raises an eyebrow, and begins looking at each interested person's profile.

He sighs, hoping he helped get his son to like him a bit more.

He eventually chooses a few- people he'd have fun hanging out with, but also would recognize he enjoys arguing and wouldn't freak out over it.

He quickly realizes he needs to act like a teenager to become closer with his teenage son, think like one. He nods to himself, agreeing it's the only way.

Most of the people he chooses are guys. He chooses five in total- four boys and a girl.

He stands, looking out his window to see the patrol coming back.

He puts down his phone, bored yet again.

Rieka came home rather late that night. She had left only wanting to find something small but she had gotten a sudden energy boost and had decided to chase down a much bigger prize. Behind her, she dragged a rather large elk. She set it down and started a small fire. She cut out a large chunk of the meat and put the rest of the elk in her cool pantry. She had never been one for fancy technology and used mostly what she made herself, which meant no refrigerator or anything like such. She cooked the chunk of elk over her fire. Once cooked, she removed it from the fire and bit into it. She sort of giggled as she ate it. She was rather proud of herself.

He hears one of the patrol guards speaking about seeing a girl in the forest eating an elk, seeming to have little to know money.

Rieka put out the fire with a bucket of water. She then left to fill it up again with water. After doing so, she set the bucket of water by the fire and went inside her house. She sort of hummed to herself as she cleaned up before crawling into her simple straw bed. She liked her life. Of course she would regularly head into town to buy and sell things, but only for the things she couldnt get herself.
