I freeze, then a flurry of thoughts run through my mind. What did I do!?! Where was the cube and Flick!?! Did I..kill her? I hug myself tighter.

I gently bend down, attempting to show that I am not hostile. Xolia does the same, bending down to show that she is not here to hurt him. I began to gently hold my hand out, hoping that they understand that I am their friend in this situation.

I keep my hand steady and my heart rate normal. I also make sure that Xolia doesn't attack him, and wait for him to sniff my hand.

He gently sniffs your hand. He then turns around and lets out a sad yip.

Xolia tilts her head in confusion, but she still stands down as to not scare of the Sylesti. I feel like the Sylesti is hurt, so I calmly ask "are you okay? Are you hurt?" I want to pet the Sylesti, but if it's hurt then that's the top priority at the moment.

I nod, and follow the Sylesti into the woods. Someone must be hurt. Xolia tracks behind me, on full alert in case of an attack. (I do have to sleep now, sorry-)
