Yanna
Yanna yipped happily and pranced around her mother. "Can we hunt bears?!" She squealed. She ran around and swatted "ferociously" at Akali's tail. "I bet I can do it! I'm really strong and fast!"

Akali
Akali chuckled at the little pup's response. "No, I think you're a bit too small to wrestle a bear just yet." She said fondly as she touched noses with Yanna. "Besides, even all the hunters combined can only just barely take down one bear." She smiled. "How about we go exploring for now?" Akali smiled as she walked out of the den and motioned Yanna to follow.

Yanna
Yanna sighed and followed her mother outside where she instantly ran off chasing a grasshopper. Akali gently padded after her.

skoll
He watched as Koda walked over to bruhne, akira and Kiyiya. He was a bit surprised at Koda's response to the threat. He would not admit it himself, but he may have even been a bit impressed. He decided to leave Koda alone. He walked over to yanna and akali. "Good morning Akali, Good morning little yanna. You seem to have slept well." he said to them. He watched as Akali followed the prancing pup. he gave a small chuckle.


kiyiya
Kiyiya watched the pack happily as she waited for Akira to answer her question. She saw Koda comingnear and sat next to him when he arrived. She realized that Koda had come from talking with her brother." Do not be frightened of my brothers empty threats Koda. He is always bluffing." she watched as skoll greeted yanna and Akali. She smiled and laughed at the pups bold attempts to capture a grass hopper. "I hope my question does not hurt or offend you, but since you can't see anything, when you think of a pup, what do you imagine?" she asked Koda as gently and sensitively as she could.

Akali
Akali looked back grinning at Skoll, "I good morning to you as well. I slept very well, and the little one seems to have slept even better." She chuckled. She stopped beside Skoll and sat down, unable to keep up with the pup's energy. "She's like a little bolt of lightning." She smiled fondly. "Don't run off too far Yanna! Stay where I can see you." Akali called to the little pup.

Yanna
Yanna gave up trying to catch the speedy grasshopper and moved on to amusing herself by pouncing on some nearby buttercups. Yanna heard her mother's call and called back, "Okay!" And resumed "hunting". She crouched as she fixated upon the biggest flower in sight and grinned a toothy grin. She launched herself at it. But ended up jumping over it and tumbling into the grass. She whined in annoyance and jumped back up to find some more innocent flowers to pounce on.

Kiyiya's smile faded. Her heart was moved. She watched as Yanna continued to play and wished that Koda could see it too. She lowered her head and said, almost whispering "Thank you." She felt serenity in his words, it gave her peace amidst the sadness. She decided to change the subject, "Who would you prefer to be your guide? I am sure Akira and Bruhne will take your preferences into consideration."

Skoll laughed at her respons. "indeed, your young one amazes me with his energy. What I would not give for it. " he chuckled. He watched Yanna run around like a cheetah. "What does Yanna want to be?" he asked. He thought of his little sister wanting to be a warrior when she was a pup.

Heather padded over to Burhne."You should send the hunting patrol out soon.There's not much prey on the pile."She suggested "We could hunt down a deer or an elk perhaps.Elk would feed many"She licked her lips.

"Well enough." He nodded, smiling as she spoke kindly. "I think going out to hunt may help- in all honestly I feel kind of bored doing no work right now. Would you like to join me on our hunt if you are not patrolling? I think Kadara may join as well."

He didn't want to pressure the Alpha Female though, especially when she was picking her seconds and thirds in command. But Akira was a leader as well in this pack, and a good one too. Hunting with her would definitely lead to a good bounty for the pack.
