She wiped her eyes and fixed her hair, turning to follow Nicholas down the hallway. She hoped she looked nice... but she wasn't really a fan of the large ball gown type dress that they had given in her makeover. She looked at the ground and decided that she shouldn't speak to the Prince unless he spoke first.

He led all the ladies into the dining room. There was a feast placed on a large table, where everyone could sit.
"Can I have Zaniyah, Reese, Lucy, Meadow, and Kristina come with me please?" The five girls exited the room with him." The Prince came back later, a grim expression on his face. The girls never came back into the dining room.

Sterling sat down at her place on the table, her face pale as she saw the girls disappear through the doors. They didn't return, and her stomach seemed to flip but she put on a calm expression.

The maids and butlers dished out their plates. The king and queen started to eat, but Nick just played with his food. He felt terrible

Sterling couldn't eat either. She was too nervous about talking to the Prince by herself later on. She could imagine being sent home soon.
