Suddenly, the others called out, talking about how... They were stuck on the tree stumps? This was either a really well organized prank, or they were hallucinating. Or... It was real. "Uh... Are you all saying that... You're stuck to the stumps?" Xyniu questioned, his voice still light, smile still present, but tone clearly not as lighthearted as his face.

Flare looked at him with a face that said, [Yes. Also, help us.]

Stalker flashed a few colors at Xyniu, and Flare said, *Stalks says for you to sit on the...* He looked at Stalker and said, *what u said?* and the chameleon hopped onto the stump and became a Oak brown. Flare nodded, then faced Xyniu and said, *yeah, just sit on the stump or he will spike you. And those horns are sharp. I know.* he absentmindedly scratched his leg, reaveling 2 triangled scratch marks. *u got 15 seconds before those horns scratch ur leg. And they are sharp.*

Nadette looked around the circle of stumps once more. She glanced at the others who seemed to be stuck as well. "So this is not normal? You are sure? It is a not prank or something?" She asked, getting a little nervous, her English messing up a bit more than normal.

She calmed herself down and thought about what to do next. Nat pulled out her phone, quickly checking the time and texting Irvine back when she realized he had texted her.
'Where are you?? I thought i was driving you home?? the party is almost over??'
She replied with an apology, telling him that she had gotten a ride from someone else and already left.

"What is my dad going to think?" she mumbled,her hands shaking as she realized it was past her curfew and she should be home by now.

"Guys, the party is mostly over now. What are we going to do? It's almost midnight!" She told them loudly, a hint of fear in her voice, tears threatening to flow over her eyes.

"We're gonna die here all alone, we're gonna die, Oh God." She said frantically, clutching her phone like a lifeline.

Flare growled, trying to get up. Failing, he sighed. *as far as I know, u got 2 options.

1. Let the school know we are here. Theyll think ur crazy, but if u take Stalker with u they may come. He can be very convincing. *winks*

2. Wait with us, but dont sit down. I got food in my pack, so well be fine for a day or 2. And enough water for that, 2. But if u dont want to, I understand.*

Stalker crawled up to Nadette and nuzzleded her leg, trying not to scratch her with his Triceratops horns.

"I'm already stuck, stupid. Clearly, I am in the same situation as you, and obviously you seemed to be quite stumped on our sticky situation. I'm getting so good at English puns" she grinned, panic still fresh on her face, though.

Nat pat Stalker on the head gently, smiling at his gesture.

*Look, buddy, I know you have a weird thing going with that lizard, but I doubt your lizard would be able to convince a full grown adult, probably by attacking it, based on what you imply, theyd probably squish him, most teachers here are NOT fond of ANY type of reptile, Ive learned that from experience* Ana warned him, becoming slightly irritable from being trapped and her stomach ache, and pulled out her phone.

After a few minutes of being on her phone, her face turned pale, and she dropped the phone beside her, covering her mouth.
