Nicolas watched Amour as approached him. "H... Hi..." He stuttered quietly. Feeling very embarrassed that he hadn't spoken properly.

"As you can see, Eros is rather upset." She giggled at her father's expressionless face as he listened to the others, but she was aware that he was probably feeling agitated over the subject.

"Y... Yeah, he doesn't look very happy. B... But I understand why." He managed to get out two sentences. His face went slightly pink. "I.. I mean, the situation doesn't sound very good."

She tilted her head a bit, curious why he was stuttering- and why people did it so often. "It doesn't sound good. I understand why as well... I'm Amour, but you can call me Lovienne." She ended the sentence, holding her hand out.

He smiled shyly and took her hand, "My name's Nicolas, son of Toki, I assume you are the daughter of Eros." He didn't really need to ask or assume for that matter, she had that kind of aura about her.

"Yes. Well, not really. I was created by Eros and cast into the human world to spread love." She said dramatically. "But I hated it there, he let me come back to stay with him. So an adopted father, but also one that created me." Amour laughed.

"R... right, well that makes sense, I guess.. N.. not really." He frowned, in confusion. "Well, mine's not so simple. My mum has some... Problems I guess, so I was created by Life but with her DNA and everything. They think I don't know and keep hiding it, but I do know. It's just annoying." He breathed out through gritted teeth and ran his hand through his hair.

Her eyes narrowed at the word annoying, because she was somewhat like Eros. She hated words describing or relating to negativity, though she would let it slide because she understood how the topic was bothersome. "They might have thought you weren't ready. But to hide a secret from you... it's probably for the greater good." She calmly placed a hand on his shoulder, her powers picking up his frustration.

"Yeah, I get that, I really do, but I'm not some kid that can't understand or deal with these things. It's not like I'm not actually related to her. Even if I wasn't she would still be my mother." Nicolas tried to calm himself down and smiled gently at her, "It doesn't matter, it's not your problem..."

"I didn't mean to pry, sorry if it seemed like I did." She smiled back. "But I like to help whenever and wherever I can." He seems a bit calmer now, she noted, taking another emotion reading as she pulled her hand back.
