Starlight followed Payton to make sure she obeyed. Orion got off of the girl and began asking her questions like her name, Maia, and who her father was and her status in the noble hierarchy.

Maia was relieved the boy was off him and felt more comfortable talking to the boy who looked similar to him, maybe he was faking being a traitor, turns out their father was the same-wait what?!

Payton kicked the dust and glared at Starlight. "Nosy much?" she asked it before hearing something moving in the woods. She looked around no one. Something was there, she just couldn't see it. She narrowed her eyes as her breathing slowed in focus.



Naomi stood stock still as she stepped on a twig. She dove behind a giant rock and watched as the fierce looking girl examined the area. She was shivering in fear. The red haired girl also had a scary looking Ny'vene right next to her. And the moment she sneezed as soft as a kitten, she knew she was screwed.

Starlight snapped his head to the direction the noise came from and flew over, glaring down at the girl.

Payton followed Starlight and found the girl paled in fear. She grabbed the girls arm harshly and dragged her to the camp.


Naomi let herself be dragged along. She was paralyzed in fear.

Starlight smiled, a strange sight on a Ny'vene. Orion had gotten all he needed out of Maia, put tied her up with her zolnixi.

Naomi looked around. Her wide doe eyes focusing on the other girl, which she assumed was a loyal noble. That girl was very pretty... She shut down the thoughts, the girl probably doesn't like girls. So, she looked at her captors. "What do you want with me?" she asked in her soft voice.


Payton studied the girl with pure undiluted hatred in her eyes. She looked at Orion. "Ori I say we call it a day and interrogate her tomorrow. I'm tired and we can leave Starlight to watch them."

Orion nodded as he tied up the girl next to Maia, he signaled for Starlight to watch them and he did as told, staring at the two girls with unblinking, ice blue eyes.

Kami still at the camp with the girls Maia and Orion, Kami decide to hide his presence and hide in the treetops eavesdropping on Orion to see why he was so indulged to ask question all of a sudden to the Girl

Payton began to walk home and it seemed as if the sky had opened up and was pouring a tsunami on them. The rain beat down on her back as hard as rocks as she walked home to her worn down hut. Once safely inside she put buckets and bowls under cracks in the roof to catch rain that leaked in. She thought about her crush on Orion. Did he like he too? Did they even stand a chance?
