"People judge me about my family. Well, whatever little 'family' I have," she said, pulling herself up to sit across from him. "Can you see them?" She asked, gesturing to the thestrals. She couldn't, but she had heard of them. "Only some can."

"Yeah, I can see them," Sebastian paused and looked out the front of the carriage at thestrals. "I don't know why though. I've never seen anyone die."

"Ah." Her eyes flashed with short-lived surprise. "You have heard the story. Maybe you've seen someone die... you just don't have any memory of it." Arden hooted in his cage at Spectre, and she waited for the Gryffindor boy and Hufflepuff girl to join them.

Sebastian shrugged. "I guess." He leaned back against the seat. He watched a few Slytherins climb into the carriage next to them, and he tensed slightly when he recognized them, leaning back against his seat so they couldn't see him. He wasn't particularly afraid of them, but he didn't want to deal with their idiotic comments.

She smiled, then turned back to face him. "Well, I bet they're the type of people to only like purebloods. And I know that's not me. And I know some of 'em are on the Quidditch team. Ha, I can score on them any day of the week. Do you play?"
