Mirage witnessed only the part where Darci was pulled back by Myles. Her eyes widened as she realized what had occurred. They're fighting already? It's barely been fifteen minutes... Sighing, she shook her head, not willing to make conversation or to ask what had happened. How long am I stuck here?

Mouse Saskia looked at Mirage worringly. If this was some kind of demented arena battle, she could always dart out

Thorn just glared ahead. He glanced over at Myles nonchalantly.
"Keep your pet on a leash, will you? And also make sure she doesn't take a poop in the middle of the table," Thorn just continues doing what he was doing.
Being in a gang must've really screwed up his head.

Myles-
His eyes flashed a brilliant blue for a moment before he stopped himself. Come on now he had more control than that! With a quick motion he picked the girl up holding her close to him. "And you should keep your attitude to yourself like a civil being. Look I know that you don't want to be here, I get that none of you want to be here, but please atleast fake it alright? I'm just trying to give you all some options." Clearly the man himself really didn't want to be all there, yet he put up with it for the sake of the childern. "So could you keep your harsh words to yourself or am I going to have to schedule you hour long sessions so we can talk over your issues?"

"_{I mean, there are worse fates..}" she said, crawling back up to the chair

Thorn glares at all of them.
"I'd say that perhaps you too, should keep your attitude in check..." He looks up at Myles and smirks again, "After all you just lost your head over a child's squabble. The child, by the way, being me... because I'm nine," He somehow manages to pull off an innocent child's look.

Kaede rolled his eyes, leaning back as he stared at the ceiling. "I'm guessing that Mr. Goody-two-shoes," he gave a pointed glance at Myles, "would be upset if I lit a cigarette in here, huh?" he said with a long sigh.

"I don't know," Mirage responded, leaning back in the chair and putting her feet up on the table. If no one else is going to be civil right now, I won't be civil either. She was a patient person, but this meeting was tiring her out. "But I sure will be. And you, kid-" she shot a glance at Thorn. "You need to keep your attitude in check."

The sudden change in personality surprised her too, she had never been like this before. She looked down but kept her feet propped up.

Still in her mouse form, Saskia looked up at Mirage. She looked trustworthy.

Thorn shrugged off all the comments.
Let's be honest, He thought to himself, I grew up in a street gang after my mother tried to murder me... do they really think they are the scariest thing I've seen?
He huffs looking at the rat girl he teased earlier. I wish she would do more than a sentence's worth every now and then.
He doesn't give many of them a second thought, but he was somewhat impressed with the older boy, Kaede, was it? He looked gravely cool and like the kind of person he wants to be when he grows up.
He decides to hate Kaede instead of admitting to admiring someone.
