"Typical modern teenager." I avoided looking at him to avoid looking like an idiot and setting my ears on fire or something.

A small smile flickered across his face for a second. "Good enough for me." He said to Cerise, though his eyes flickered towards Kacita then. "You... look a bit ridiculous, 'Cita." He noted with a shrug. "As long as it fits in, though. That's what is important here." He shoved his hands into his pockets as he spoke.

"Maybe these will help me fit in more" Kacita said, putting on a sun hat and some sunglasses. "I've also located a communication box, I can't believe someone just dropped it!" Kacita said as she began walking, motioning for the others to follow. "Hey, did you guys ever give humans any physical changes? Because I know I did, I wonder if my selkies and mermaids still exist" Kacita wondered

"I granted gifts, but rarely did I offer physical changes." Tenchi answered with a shake of his head. "Only in very specific cases, and never to groups- only individuals." As he spoke he followed after Kacita, glancing up to the sky as he did so. "Many of my gifts were... harder to notice with only a glance at thei appearance. They caused less trouble for the ones that carried them that way- perhaps they may still be around and just blended in with those without." He shrugged slightly, as if he didn't care. A lie, some part of him was concerned for his favored.

I knew how much he liked those he favored, and I said nothing, blinking back tears. I did give the artist another gift..... But I had forbidden myself from saying her name ever again, I didn't want the memories.

"I wonder if my pegasi are okay." Aura says, hovering about an inch off the ground

I picked up the communication square I found when getting art, and looked at it. I swiped at it, and immediately was confused. "Hey I'm gonna ask how to use this." I walked up to some random man, and asked politely asked him. "Can you tell me how to use this, kind sir?" "Just got a new iPhone?" "Uh, yes." I laughed nervously. "D**n teenagers. Okay." He remained polite despite the frustration I could sense, and showed me how to 'call', 'text', and 'take images.' I thanked him and hurried back.


"I know how to use this now!"

"Stupid mortals. We're at least a milenia older than him." Aura said, with a slight pout

"Aura, apparently it's 2017 AD." Then I looked at the 'iPhone.' "Yep. We are thousands of years old. Funny, I don't feel thousands of years old." I put one of the hoodies on, mine being a deep red color. "So now what?"

"We'll never look like we're thousands of years!"Aura beamed "Try looking up where the relic thingies are."
