I used the process of elimination o3o We don't have a boat for one, so why the oars? The chest is LOCKED. Unless that lady gives us the key, which she DIDN'T say she would, it's completely useless. It looks part metal, so it won't float. The shell is almost completely useless but you never know, this is like a 33.3333. . . chance of either one.

Except the thing is, even if it is part metal, if there was air trapped inside it, then it would still float is some way because air is always less dense than water. Also, we could make a boat, considering that we're surrounded by wood.

But still, if the chest had air trapped in it the looking thickness and lock/metal parts on it combined with our weight would bring it down :P If we made a boat, we would waste a lot of time on it and could just build a pair of oars with it

trilli if you reread the whole post with the choices you'll notice that the night before you caught PIRANHA in the water. meaning if you go swimming you get eaten.
