You approach the forest with your companion at your side. Your still surprised that your elder gave you a manticore, but there strong so you won't complain. You enter the thick brush and instantly smell something very unpleasant.

B) Investigate the smell

One of the men (who you think is the leader) looks at you before answering. "We are the guard of the nearby city and we were sent to deal with the goblin threat." He looks at the cave "but I have a feeling they won't be a problem any more." He turns away and starts talking to his men.

B) Attack them (10/10 Would not recommend)
