"oh uh, no-nothing really." she said, her eyes darting around. "uh" she started to change the subject. "You're really good at drawing..." Swish said. oh god how do complements?? she screamed internally.

Shorts glanced around the room. He set his chin on his desk and drifted to sleep.

((so like, mild trashy leading to trashy trashy?))

"Oh, t-thanks. I'm really not that good. I bet you're way better."

((yeah, its p mild. just not somethin you'd show to a parent or whatever))

"Uh." she tried to think up another conversation starter. "So you lik-like anime?" she asked, internally stabbing herself, but then thinking about it but then stopping because this is school and ok now im getting too rambley oh no.

"Yeah, absolutely obsessed. I mainly watch Attack on Titan but Fairy Tale and Hetalia are some of my other favorites!" She smiled, maybe she had found a new friend.

"Oh woah!" she said, with a sudden boost of self esteem. "I like those too. But I don't usually get to watch much Hetalia. My uncle doesn't really like all the, uh. Y'know." she said. "Have you ever seen Ao No Exorcist?" she added.

"Oh, no, but I've heard of it! What's it about?"

"Basically it's about this kid named Rin. He grows up in a church with his twin brother and their father. One day he gets into a fight and starts being able to see demons and stuff. He goes to his father about this and his father is all like "it's time you knew the truth". So then it's revealed that Rin is the son of satan but all his demon powers were locked away in a sword. Also their father is adoptive. And th-oh, I'm rambling aren't I? Sorry if i spoiled it..." She mumbled the last part.

"No, no, it's fine! I think I'll start watching it, it reminds me of the classic Inyuasha." She smiled.

Winston yawned and glanced up at the clock. Although the clock was too far above his head for him to see it.
"You know, this is why I need a watch" he muttered to himself. He looked around at the odd students and laughed to himself a bit. "I'll at least have more to talk about this year." He said to himself.

Just then, Abigail rushed in, carrying art papers for her to give out for art club this year. "Winston, I need to speak with you."
