Zac looked at Eugene clearly shocked. "No. I could only ever love..." he went quiet, "thanks for the soup," he said feeblely and padded over to Mae. "Here," he said and sat down, his brow furrowed in thought.

Mae quietly started eating, but glanced up at Thinking Zac. "Everything alright?" She asked softly, surprising herself.

"Huh? Yeah. Just... just thinking." Zac started rubbing his eyes.

Vixen walked into the weapons tent and caught a glimpse of the ryori from the training tent
He must work with weapons she thought as she padded silently to the blade block
She pressed the peddle that made the large stone wheel spin despite this being her first time in the weapons tent she seemed to have a fair bit of knowledge of weapons.
She took the dull yes less blade from her back and placed her paws on either end pinning the blade between the spinning stone and the weight of her paws.
As she worked the sparks from the sharpening blade glittered in her eyes like fireworks

Geerz comes in and grabs a odd looking backpack of sorts, small smile to her.

Vixen pulls her blade off the spinning block it was now sharp and metallic again. she placed it back on ther back and looks at the ryori again.
"who are you?" she asked in the most non-threatening way possible

"I am Geerz, ex researcher and scientist of the great ones" bows some

She gets slightly defensive " Scientist... for what...." she asks clearly on guard

"Simply cures and inventions to help others... However, my fellow great ones twisted my findings into great evils. Now I am of the rebellion"

She nods " you seem familiar with the weapons here?"
