But the Arena is not for finding out he CLASS press. It's for the pres of the whole school. Like how the student council leaders are in manga. This makes the fighting worth while :3

Hummm...I don't think it would be an all our brawl. In the case stated it would (if not an election) be a series of tests, no? I mean this is a school not a battleground, brain and brawn, not just I can punch you harder or I get a lucky shot and win. What is school pres? Shouldn't there be four class pres? I one for each year? Well there could also be homeroom presidents and we could have contest between them.

Idk :3 I thought that adding a little competition would make the school life more interesting and 'unusual'. I meant school pres as the person who is the president of the whole school (not principle) and has the second highest standing to the principle. As for class pres, maybe either one for each class of every year? This kind of depends on how many classes we have, maybe we would have to change who many class pres there are.

I don't know :3 Either way is fine with me :3 I just want to make the school as different as possible from normal school :3 and I think this spices things up a bit

and it won't just be 'I hit you because of my reflexes' etc. There will be SOME sort of strategy to the fighting. Some people are in teams of different class of people, so you can't really just 'luck it out' and punch people randomly. You need to find out what type is the opposing team and figure of the most effective way of defeating them, etc.

But if you guys don't want to have an arena, thats fine with me :3

Maybe the arena could just be like a school sport thing? Like houses/ groups against each other...the school could have houses...doesn't need to be like Harry Potter not entirely sure about other countries but English schools have houses...even a Canadian school I've been in had houses for a year. I mean I believe that the students are completely capable of this kind battle, remembering that they are not normal students and if there is indeed a war going on then it would be our duty to prepare them...Just my suggestion *goes back to reading manga*

Areas:I think if we are going to have an arena it should mainly be a gym activity but during certain times in the year house(as in be used for not as in house like a class group) school events. I would like to have class and grades have a yearly tournament or festival thing(these may also occur on holidays) where we compete against each other but in more than a complete combat sort of way. I believe that if we are going to have competition for class pres it should be by election and various things will be done to raise popularity and prove ones capabilities as pres. An arena match might be one of those things however it should be done as a solo match. However the candidate should have two supporting members for vairouse parts in there campaign. Examples, your vice, the one that plans your secdules and in fights holds the towel and gives you a prep talk and/or advise on what to do next.

Houses:I would rather not have houses because that tends to divide people up and we really don't want that in a school rp because they don't have plot and depend mainly on interaction. I do like having classes(Preferably homerooms because thoughs are smaller and more personal but a grade even could be done on fewer accounts) put against each other because it creates bonding in the class but does not separate the students during the day.

Grading:Has anyone seen the anime Baka and Test? if you haven't go and watch it unless you can't stand random comedy. I found the anime short and amusing. We could develop a grade system similar to that if you like.

Boarding school views: As for whether or not this is a boarding school I generally see this as a special school for well the not human and a form of training camp to set them out into the real world. That makes this an urban fantasy. the reason why I like this it keeps us on familiar this is school and not magicland basis it also gives us conflict which needs to happen because again we lack plot. Conflict being that if the creatures do appear in the natural world they will be shunned and have probably experienced this in a normal world setting. This mean not only is this an urban fantasy it is an open world urban fantasy with supernaturals just trying to fit in. Continuing I see this as not being a boarding school because I want us to have parents and families and you know normal school lives or as normal as one can get begin an elf, dragon ect. Not that boarind schools aren't normal but it sort of takes away from the typical family element. However since our school is special I feel that it would have s a few dorms or at least guest rooms for unexpected guests or people that have personal issues and can't be or no longer have a home or maybe even for transfer students. Another nice thing about not being in magicland is we can have common holidays like each class could compete to have the best Halloween activity and the student council will decorate and organize the rest of the school then we can open it up to the town and have mass vote on who did the best.

Plot?:As for plot. We need to take a vote because I am fine with this being just a school rp it sounds to me like some of you are and some of you aren't. I am fine with this being a murder mystery sort of thing aswell as I am not. I liked the rift idea and can build off of it but ounce again I am fine with ether so you guys will have to tell me. I mean we could do both in that if we lose interest in it just being a school rp we can have a dead body show up and have the mystery aspect start. Please take note schools rps can start slow so if we go with this wait a bit before just jumping and saying you found a dead body.

I am fine with any subplot as long the focus will lie on the school/young people and young people problems and stuff.

A murder mysterie and something is fine, but I do think we should not make this rp to heavy and keep it more light and funny. It is first and foremost a school rp. Lets keep the focus there. If we do a murder mysterie I am more for the funny kind, where everybody thinks there is a murder mysterie but in the end it turns out to be a misunderstanding and that there was in fact a good normal reason for the person appearing dead... That happens some times in school anime. One ep with a murder mysterie that ends in a light funny way like that.

Anyway That is my vote. There are enough other rp's with darker elements out there already. And one is being made right now (monster hunting).

Arena:
I am partial with arena, but if you do want to have this sort of thing, I have a suggestion called the spell showdown. Alteration compete against alteration, potion making against potion making, and so on. This whole contest is performed in a stage, and the judges will be the whole student, see who's better at impressing everyone wins!

Houses:
I also disagree with houses... I think it's enough that we have different classes and student can mingle with one and another!

Grading:
Gosh... I'm not sure about grading! *pulls the teachers* GUYS GIVE US IDEAS!!!!! OR I'LL EAT THIS BOOK OF MAGIC *chews on magic books*

Boarding school views:
I'm partial with this, I think both had pros and cons, in addition to what Ragnaroc had described, if we had boarding school, there will be 24/7 student interaction, and there are a lot of mischievous things we can do, pranking sleeping teachers (TEACHERS BEWARE), get together with dorm friends to practice magic at night, a day before exam chaos, and many more!

But, if we don't have boarding school, we can make every single character's personal story being told, like their personal problems with their family or neighbors, their family's quirks, they're crushes at home (that cute neighbor you always liked), of course so many more! Just think which is more interesting for you guys! OuO

Plot:
I'm not sure we should have plot now, I think the flow of the story will be confusing if we do! Maybe random mysteries surrounding the school as mini plots is good enough~
