Madeline looked over and nodded. *Kiryu can carry both of us. Although not for longer than half an hour - his jet pack runs on a seperate power source on the mech, but I need to improve how long that pack can fly for. Hmm. Maybe I should try and get some uranium.* she mused.

Well, thats not reassuring.

Ryu grinned and nodded. *easily. I will have to hold you by my talons, but I will be gentle.*

Choji whirs, a concerned noise in response to Madeline's musings. "Perhaps some other energy source, first," he says, waving his hands in a small 'no' motion. "But in this case, that should be more than enough to get us into the cave."

In the meantime, Asuka lets her form sink into slime, faint lights beginning to glow from underneath her skin. "Don't worry about it," she says, a smile pulling at the corner of her lips. "It's quite hard to injure me like this."

She holds her hands out at her sides and turns. "In that case, up we go!"

Madeline nodded and tapped some buttons on her gauntlet. Kiryu landed next to them and scooped up Choji while passing Madeline a spare jet pack she strapped to her back.

Because of course she had a jet pack.

Ryu gently grabbed Asuka and rose into the air, flying off with Asuka. Madeline flew off with her jet pack, and Kiryu took off with Choji, right behind the kthers.

Choji's hands strain against the metal of the mech in sudden shock as his feet leave the ground and he's dragged to soar up into the skies. For a second, he hangs there like that, legs dangling from Kiryu's hold before he calms down and laughs.

"Ah, a princess carry?" he asks, voice ringing with amusement. "Is this setting only for when your robot's carrying other people or does it hold you this way as well when you're flying?"

Meanwhile, Asuka laughs with a similar energy, watching as the floor falls away, bringing the figures of the other students with it. "Mm, it's so nice, having the whole team being able to fly! We're saving so much time this way."

Ryu just let out a roar in agreement.

Madeline giggled at that and kept flying, but that laughter turned into screaming as something large SLAMMED into Ryu, knocking him back as Asuka was dropped.

Ryu roared in fear for Asuka and anger, biting at the obstacle - which turned out to be a Quirked human! They had black gear, and an angry look in their red eyes. (this, but with skin that is normal white, and not vampire-pale white.)

Ryu roared and threw them away, catching Asuka before she hit the ground and carrying her down. Then he glared at the newcomer, who was glaring and pacing back and forth like a wild animal, staring at the group.

Madeline quickly handed and pulled out a plasma gun. *you know this person?*

Ryu nodded. *my rival. Athera. She keeps trying to take my territory.*

Athera smirked and threw off the cloak, revealing her true form. (this picture, but the MUTO legs are bigger. Like, twice as big, so her human legs dont even touch the ground, becuase thats cool.) She had strange extra limbs to provide extra support and mobility, and she was actually using those limbs as legs, letting her normal legs dangle in the air.

(Meet Athera - Ryus rival! Ryu normally lives like a wild animal in areas without humans, and Athera was put in a similar situation where she grew up alone in the wild. She became scared at a young age of danger, which turned to aggression against threats. She could be a great hero, but needs serious mental help and counseling first - she regards EVERYTHING that isnt food and is alive as a threat. So shes kind of insane.

Her quirk gives her extra mobility with her extra limbs, the ability to generate an exoskeleton to protect her on her skin at will, and the ability to produce an EMP blast by charging up and slamming down her forelimbs, knocking out anything electrical and weakening Ryus abilities. She normally fights with strong punches with her hands, powerful kicks with her human legs, and smashes, stomps, and stabs with her mutant legs. She is also great at using objects as weapons like clubs from large branches or DIY spears.

Oh, and if it isnt clear, this isnt a part of the orientation - she broke in to challenge Ryu. Again. I was hoping to have her get captured, the adults see how unstable she is, and they work to help her. Eventually she gets somewhat better and becomes friends with the group. So, what do you think?

Also I know this idea is totally random and out of the blue but I just thought of it and I love it.)

(Oooh, no that idea sounds awesome! I'd love to have her onboard. The story you have planned sounds great, and the fact that you named her Athena as a spider-person is perfect haha.)

The sky shines pale blue overhead as Asuka plummets, allowing gravity to wreath her form as the sight of Ryu diving towards her fills her vision, trusting that he'll intercept her. And he does, leaving her to grin as she says, "Thanks for the catch! Let's see if I can't repay you by fixing your rival problem, how about it?"

Seeing the girl throw off her cloak, she slides out of Ryu's eyes with a playful wink and a slight bounce to her step, making her way over with that same, jaunty stride. "I hope you're ready!" she calls, and then between one step and the next, she shifts the tension within her legs and leaps. Suddenly she's soaring forward across the ground, arms solidifying tough as steel as she throws them forward in a cross-cut.

Meanwhile, Choji's right arms morphs, rubber sealing itself shut as his blades whirl, sending paint coursing into his hand. In that moment, it bulges and its pressure skyrockets.

Although her name is Athera, not Athena. Close, but I didnt want to be too on the nose.)

Athera just roars a challenge before slamming her extra legs down, causing a large EMP. It somewhat harms Chojis mechanical body and weakens Ryu somewhat (the EMP affects radiation, and Ryu has a good amount of it). However, it badly affects Madeline, shutting down her machines and leaving her out of the fight.

Then the MUTO girl charged forward, dodging the Asukas attack with ease before drop-kicking her into the dirt. Madeline ran over to try to help, and managed to get a few hits in with basic martial arts, but got knocked down and stomped by the girl.

Ryu roared in anger and launched at the girl, tackling and punching her as the duo grappled like animals.

( Ahh no, very sorry to Athera for misspelling her name! Also, feel free to have the summoned hero be one of your characters or a woman with sleeping powers. I figured the latter seems like a counter to Athera, but I wanted to give you the chance to make a cameo, if you wanted. The teleportation will be part of my character's power. If he can trick someone into believing something, it happens. :D )

Asuka bounces with the attack, body squishing in on itself before expanding by upward. Still, as she moves to sit up, her movement is hindered by the dizziness in her head. Her skin feels hot and feverish when she presses against it, leaving her to frown as the world spins around her. She too slow with her transformation; the girl must have gotten the kick off before she defended herself.

Meanwhile, Choji's blades whirl to a stop after his circuits fry, leaving him with a single shot, one that he holds on to until Ryu and their attacker are locked together in combat before spraying a wide, explosive blast, hardening whatever parts manage to hit the girl into a thick casing.

It cracks quickly; her strength must be monstrous.

Luckily, their teacher arrives with the time theyve brought, eyes sweeping over the scene with mild curiosity. "Not everyday you get intruders around here given how many heroes are around here," he says. "One of your heroics teachers will be here in just a moment."

Choji looks around expectantly. Everything seems empty until, suddenly, it's not. A figure appears, summoned by their home room teacher.

(Good to know! I think Ill leave the honor of having the summoned character be one of yours - I have a bunch already and I want to see one of yours show up.)

Athera looked at the new figure and growled a challenge, before Ryu tackled her again to try to pin her down, causing her to punch Ryu in the face and knock him out.

Dang, shes strong.

Silence settles over the surroundings, stopping even the faintest sound from reaching Madeline, Asuka, Choji, and their home room teacher. Choji tries to speak in sudden confusion, only to find his voice entirely muted. Asuka does the same with the same results, though the movement of her lips is much clearer than Choji's.

A lilting lullaby echoes around Ryu and Athera, drifting from an inexplicable source as a man is dragged forth. He looks like a trumpet given human form, with the flared head of an instrument and valves dotting fingers of brass. His hands wave, reshaping the melody as it slows the listener's movements and drags them to sleep.
